We have several experienced Drupal developers who can help new Drupal teams more efficiently deliver and maintain Drupal websites.
Finn Lewis (founder) was instrumental in the early days of LocalGov Drupal, and Ekes, Tanc, and Mark Conroy all have significant experience working with LocalGov Drupal and LocalGov Microsites.
Our work with councils
We work with councils to supplement in-house digital teams, share knowledge and experience and upskill developers.
We're currently working with Greenwich to help the in-house team deliver their service directory and main site.
Previously we've worked with Lambeth, Greenwich, Oxfordshire and Hull.
Our LocalGov Drupal Journey
Open Code has been a subscriber to Open Digital Cooperative / LocalGov Drupal since it's inception.
Finn was formerly at Agile Collective, where the LocalGov Druapl journey started, and has been actively contibuting, promoting and championing LocalGov Drupal at every opportunity, speaking at conferences (DrupalCon, Drupal Camp Belgium, LocalGov Camp) and at local meetups like OxDUG.
There is so much scope to expand Drupal and other open source collaborations across the councils in the UK and Ireland. Of the 400 councils, almost 100 use Drupal, most of which use LocalGov Drupal.
Once we have over 50% of councils on Drupal, we can look at Drupal for other needs within a council, with api integrations to serve other transactional services: council tax / housing / planning etc.
