LocalGov Drupal and Netcall mark a year of successful collaboration

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our partnership with Netcall, marking a one-year celebration of collaboration, innovation and shared success over the last year.

Our partnership aims to help give council teams the best tools to deliver high-quality end-to-end journeys for their citizens. By working together, we're making a greater impact than the sum of our parts.

Our work alongside the London Borough of Croydon, Westmorland & Furness Council, and Cumberland Council has made it easier for councils to deliver high-quality end-to-end journeys.

Our three biggest achievements in the last year have been:

  • Design integration - Netcall can now pick up designs from LGD so web teams can maintain designs in one place, and changes carry over automatically to new forms and pages.
  • Form integration prototype - Content designers can create forms in LGD, which can be automatically converted into cases in Liberty Create.
  • Data integration concept – Netcall’s Liberty Converse contact centre solution has useful customer insight that will benefit content designers and help them deliver improved journeys for end users.

Netcall has renewed its partnership with us so that we can build on this work over the next 12 months.

Will Callaghan, Product Lead, LocalGov Drupal, said, “We’re thrilled that Netcall will continue to be a LocalGov Drupal supporting partner. We’ve achieved a lot over the last 12 months exploring design and data integrations between our products.

We look forward to working with Netcall over the next 12 months to deepen our integrations and build tools that can be used by all councils that use our platforms. This innovative partnership brings together open source and proprietary digital tools to benefit council content designers and end users.”

Angie Forson, Croydon Council's senior Website Product Manager and Content Lead, shares, "The work we've been doing alongside LGD, Netcall, and Cumbria Council has been very valuable. From our experience co-founding and establishing LocalGov Drupal, we know the power of collaboration and how much can be achieved by working with others.

This partnership has been a useful extension of the work we've already done with the LGD project. We look forward to reaping the benefits of the deeper integration with Netcall's products and are delighted that other councils will benefit from our work."

Craig Barker, Cumberland Council, comments, “I’ve enjoyed working with Croydon Council, Netcall and LocalGov Drupal to improve our offering to service users. It’s great that councils and suppliers are building together. It stops us reinventing the wheel and reduces costs for our council and other councils. Our integration work will be incredibly useful to councils using both platforms, and I look forward to continuing with this work over the coming year.”

Mark Gannon, Director of Customer Solutions, Netcall, comments,
“Building our partnership with LocalGov Drupal over the past year has demonstrated what can be achieved by aligning shared values to deliver for the wider public sector benefit. LocalGov Drupal shares Netcall’s enthusiasm for building public assets, saving money, and improving services across local government.

Through our collective efforts, we have taken significant steps to strengthen our relationship, focusing on collaboration and sharing with our joint customers. We are excited about the opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow together. Our partnership serves as a testament to the power of constructive collaboration, teamwork and shared vision, and we are confident that it will continue to drive mutual success in the year to come.”
